Spirit Chronicles Episode 4: Release date and Spoiler alert
The Episode 4th of Spirit Chronicles titled; “Little Assassin Girl” will release on 26th July 2021. In the post-credit scene, Stewart’s father could be seen sending the Fox Beastkin Latifa to kill Rio. So, the episode is very likely to revolve around Latifa and the horrors she endured at the Huguenot household. It might be possible that, like Rio, she is also a reincarnation.
Haruto and Rio are two completely different personalities. Haruto’s main concern before dying in a horrific bus accident and even after dying is, his childhood friend Mii-Chan. He can’t help but wonders what might have happened to her and why did she disappear.
On the contrary, Rio has faced a lot of hardships in his life. He saw his mother being killed in front of him and was stuck with the goons who would torture him. He was starved, abused and beaten. But the sufferings don’t end here. He is in constant fight with himself and Haruto, whose personality sometimes bothers him. He has only one friend named Celia otherwise, all his classmates would either envy him and think of ways to get him in trouble or just pretend like he didn’t exist. To top it up, his classmate Stewart’s father even sent a Fox behind him to kill him. His problems are obviously bigger than Haruto’s right? This is why he would always try to keep Haruto away from himself.
Spirit Chronicles episode 4- Conclusion
He is a go-getter. He manages to use his powers to get through school every day so he could plan his next move. Then be it, leaving the Beltram Kingdom and going to his parent’s homeland or anything else. He also has a helpful nature which we can clearly make out from the first episodes themselves. He has a heroic spirit, as he is always seen rescuing someone or the other. The first few episodes kind of look like a typical harem story, where he is surrounded and liked by girls, be it Celia his only friend, or the princesses whom he saved. However, the action scenes are not to be missed. This anime series is dynamic, it doesn’t hold on to anything for too long and the pace in which it progresses is neither fast nor slow.
Since it is based on a light novel, the anime is also light to watch. So, all in all if there is one thing “Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles” has going for it, it’s the way it’s handling its subgenre of isekai.
